This is a seamless intake set and details for the NEW / CURRENT Airfix kit. Please note that there are two main different engine types used on the Vulcan the 201 Olympus and the 301 Olympus. Please consult your references as to which one was used on the airframe you choose to build. The sets I have only differ in one part, that being the bullet shape size on the forward part of the engine intake. I have drawn and 3D printed new seamless intakes that will hopefully assist in replacing the kit parts that are quite tricky to assemble. Initially Mark Maclean drew and released the internal intake compressor sections and released them on a limited form on Britmodeller, Mark offered the parts for me to use with the seamless intake that I designed. After a lot of back and forwarding, and continuous trial prints I have reached a stage that is ready for release. Each set comprises of the 10 parts as shown all as 3D printed parts. (Please note the fit is much better than shown in the pictures as the parts are only just held in place as this is a development model) Please note the intakes may also be printed in grey resin in the future.
