Product Description

PLEASE NOTE as of today 17/11/25 the soonest any orders can be mailed out for this set will be mid December. The only stalled part is the brass undercarriage part. However it is important if you would like a KIT to place the order, as I only have limited brass sets on the way, the next batch of brass after this delivery will be next year. This kit is proving more popular than expected.

This is a complete kit that has been designed and produced using CAD and 3D printing. The kit comprises of 70 plus parts, mainly 3d printed parts however the canopy that is clear cast polyurethane resin with open and closed options. The cockpit side door has an option to be opened or closed. Brass undercarriage parts are included, decals for the instruments and set of Sutton seat harnesses are supplied. The harness is by Airscale products, already a well know brand. There is the option to have the wings with or without guns.

This kit is very similar in concept and design to the same kit previously released in 1/72 and 1/48, however small changes and tweaks have been made to improve the offering for the larger scale. You will see that the cockpit CAD image shows different coloured panels, these are very thin panels that allow for great looking instrument decals to be placed below, add a tiny drop of clear varnish and there you have it. In the detail CAD image you can see how the brass part slides within the main strut, the tail yoke is also fully cast in brass.

This is a huge aircraft and very much along the size of Typhoon / Tempest family but with a shorter wingspan.

The kit is supplied with a set of laser printed decals. The decal are thin, work easily and have good opacity, and they DO NOT look all digitized or pixelated when applied.

The kit will need preparation by the modeler and the supports that are generated will require removing. This is easily done and as long as care is taken then they have been designed to be easily removed. The model will require either a super glue or an epoxy glue for assembly, however, I find PVA can also be suitable in certain areas and for trialing the fit and assembly before committing to the permanent glues. An instruction page will follow soon where more will be detailed.

A BONUS A4 poster that is included with each kit.
