This version of the Martin Baker MB.3 was NOT built, but was proposed. There is even a very good period wartime photograph of the razorback prototype that had the bubble canopy photo-shopped onto it. Options that are included in the kit are treaded tyres and a 'hooked' rudder for WHAT-IF carrier use and guns or blank leading edge panels.

Colour schemes can be added as wished to make squadron aircraft as well as period type markings.

The kit comprises of 58 resin parts, forty-four parts will be used to complete the model.

The kit comprises the following sets of parts

• Thirty-seven 3D printed parts, six of which are alternate parts
• Twelve small 3D printed parts in a protective cage, two of which are for other versions, and 5 spares of the useable small parts for loss or breakage (printed in with more flexibility)
• Three 3D printed undercarriage struts (printed with more rigidity)
• Four 3D printed clear parts for wing tips and gunsight, an extra gunsight included
• Two clear cast resin canopy parts, can be positioned open or closed
• Set of canopy masks
• Decals, this is a sheet that covers this version and others

The kit is supplied with a set of laser printed decals. The decal are thin, work easily and have good opacity, and they DO NOT look all digitized or pixelated when applied.

Note the decals supplied are a generic sheet for all three of the MB fighters in my range.

The kit will need preparation by the modeler and the supports that are generated will require removing. This is easily done and as long as care is taken then they have been designed to be easily removed. The model will require either a super glue or an epoxy glue for assembly, however, I find PVA can also be suitable in certain areas and for trialing the fit and assembly before committing to the permanent glues.
